Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As the artistic director of SSC she served as the company's composer, musician and text director as well as the costume, set and music design. In her role, she is usually the director of her group the first time she was directing was with SSC King Lear. Since 1982 she has been married to actor and writer Michael A. Ross with whom they have two children. Post has inspired many Hollywood actors as she is both a fantastic actress and ideal wife and parent.
